Back to work again, holidays seem to be passed a long time ago, as if they didn't exist at all. The only good thing of working in these days is that there's no traffic in Rome. Every morning it takes the half of the usual time needed to drive from home to the office, there's no need to find a parking, it's all so free! Unfortunately, next week schools are going to re-open, so everything will come to be as it was ... it's like when you work in August, sometimes it seems you're living in a after-atomic world, empty streets where you are the only human, like the movie "I Am Legend" with Will Smith.Living in a metropolis like Rome ain't easy, sometimes it takes two hours to get from the south of the city to the north, even if you change your route, there's no alternative. You can choose public transport or your car, nothing changes and you're always stuck in the traffic ... the only way to move in Rome??? two-wheels!
I remember, when i had a motorbike (i am no longer a motorcyclist...a thief stole my kawasaki a few years ago) i could travel everywhere in the city within 25minutes, and it was also more enjoyable.
Anyway, talking 'bout all the rest ... we started to pack our stuff, we're planning our moving to the new house. Tomorrow we're going to put the fridge in the new house, and from thursday to saturday i'll be home so i'll have a lot of time to fill all the boxes.
Last moving was 2 years ago. I know it's hard, but it's also ecxiting.
